One of the worst I tasted in college - Pickets Beer of Dabuque Iowa (sorry for spelling the city wrong - long time since I was there) - the city though is second only to Munich Germany in the amount of beer they consume - lol GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

Schells 2nd oldest brewery in the country located in New Ulm, MN I don't care if its "good" or not, but the brewery wasn't far from my alma mater, and there was a sales rep at the local bar giving away pitchers on trivia night every wednesday. Suffice it to say we drank a lot of free beer and developed a strong brand loyalty. They have an extra strong (6.9%) seasonal beer called Miafest. "careful with the miafest" the saying goes - or you might wake up on a tennis court half way back to campus... http://www.schellsbrewery.com/ourbeers_maifest.php (Message edited by naustin on March 13, 2007) (Message edited by naustin on March 13, 2007) |

Loki, You are right, there is something about an ice cold Grain Belt on a hot day. I normally drink Summit Extra Pale Ale but on a hot day a "Belt" really hits the spot. We use to go through many cases of the old "ponies". Brad |

apparently the more you drink the prettier she gets - so I heard. Never went to bed with an ugly woman - but I sure woke up with a few etc etc. 'She was so ugly. How Ugly They used to push her face in the dough to make gorilla biscuits. If you woke up next morning and your arm was under her pillow - you'd chew your own arm off in preference to waking her up.' Rude, R. Aus 1988. No Aussie conversation about the 'Beer Glasses' would be complete without those gags. dd (Message edited by danger_dave on March 14, 2007) |

An ice cold 'Belt and a good Cohiba on a warm spring evening. With good friends around to share the moments. I grew up drinking Schmidt(big mouth barrels are bestest). A good friend turned me on to the Premium Belts. Took a liking to the Leinenkugels Northwoods Lager(just try asking for a Big Butt {with a straight face}in Hooters) |

I was very young, as in not even close to the drinking age, even though the drinking age was 18. It was near Christmas time and a friend had a few cans, the ones with Santa on them. I have no idea where he got them, no doubt probably stolen from his Dad. It was the first beer I ever drank. Damn near put me off drinking all together. To this very day I drink very little. |
