Thanks to H-D Australia I got my hands on a TT this afternoon. Ain't we got fun: A few before and after I stickered it up. If it was mine it would be no13 and have big rat finks on it. As it is it cost me $3 and my publisher will love it. Some folks just don't 'get it' - 'it's got big ugly plates on the side' they told me. Sigh - whatta ya do! I had a great Friday afternoon 'Urban Assaulting'. Laneways, alleys, ramps, jumps, outstanding. I was freelance exploring - riding up every nook I could find and came across an empty skate park. I Soooo 'get' this bike. Rather looking forward to the Autumn. Take one to a skate park if you can. 'What do you want to do when you grow up, Dave?' '%^#@ knows, 48 and it ain't happened yet.' >>so, any difference in this and the lighting.<< Aaack - A std lightning is the only one I haven't ridden to compare it to. I think tyres/tires, guards, and cosmetics. Diggin it. Got a 300km ride on tomorrow - will take my Uly - this thing is great around town - average height rider would be comfortable longer than my kness last. Seat is quite high - so are the pegs. Leg room isn't huge like the Uly. Feels more stable at speed tho. |

That bike looks great with the number stickers. Who would have thunk that $3.00 would turn a bike described by so many as ugly, in to the cool looking bike it is! |

Not really. I figure if folks are good enough to let me use the bikes i should share the good fortune - and posting here will have no impact on Kiwi Rider sales. FWIW the Buell advertising here is first rate at the moment. Double page spreads inside cover with the 'Logic' pitch. Real noice. |

Well, if you would tell us some way to subscribe, maybe we can fix that! Many times I can find some foreign magazines at big book store chains... you have any deals with Borders or Barnes and Noble? |

Actually . . . "Down Under" has long been a hot bed of Buell activity. As I'm sure D2 will attest Aus-Zealanders have an unbridled passion for things 2-wheeled that only the Italians approach. There's a reason that Buell went to Australia for the track-based intro of the S1WL and, at least in my book, that's still the coolest Buell poster ever. . . "Take one for a Test Prowl" . . love it! I'd love a chance to snag a copy of Kiwi Rider. Just think how they'll react when they find out their USA audience has grown as a result of their Buell coverage. ! Cool |
