...but I'm going to wimp out and ride my K1200LT down there and leave the XB12Ss at home. I'm kinda wondering what Yamaha will be unveiling on Friday. They've already showed us the new YZF-R1 (and it's a more affordable version of a street legal MotoGP bike than the Ducati Desmosedici)... could it be the new V-Max? | ||

Well, I made it. Horrible traffic in Delaware (road construction) and some nitwit hauling a fishing boat went too fast and flipped it in South Carolina shutting down I-95 for quite some time. I think I'll take the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel, that way I avoid I-95 in Delaware. So who's down here?? | ||

A definite possibility! I'll be wearing khakis (my microfiber "traveling clothes") and have a silver and black Rev-It Mesh jacket, and will likely be carrying a metallic burgundy Nolan N100e helmet. | ||

My business partner and I are riding over on Thursday for the day. I'll ride back over early Saturday morning and stay until after the races on Sunday. Anybody else planning on camping at the track Saturday night? | ||

Guys I'm headed down early in the morning with a buddy of mine, I'll be on the CityX and he will be on the Yamaha Warrior. We will be camping at the infield and will be there until Sat PM. Hope to see some of you there and glad to hear your back on the bike Nick! stop and speak at me if you see me, we will be test riding bikes the whole time. (or at Hooters) I will have a blue and black Joe Rocket jacket and a black Bell helmet. (my Scorpion did not come in in time) Ken | ||

Got into town about 1 this afternoon. Nice day, not too much going on just yet. Been raining since about 5pm and its now 7:30. Looks like I'll just hang out at the hotel for the night, no sense in riding to Main Street in the rain. | ||

Spoke to my friend at Yamaha. They'll be unveiling all of the new models on Friday between 6:00 and 9:00 PM by the demo truck area. Wonder if the new V-Max will be there? | ||

Hmmmmm... I was over at the tent from about 12:30 to 1:30 and never heard or saw anyone mentioning anything about BadWeb. I spoke to one of the Buell staff (who told me he owned FOUR BMW motorcycles) and then headed off to Hooter's for lunch. Sorry I missed everyone! | ||
