Once again a great CLASS track experience and once again only one Buell in 2 track days. Now that it's not my Buell, I wonder if it's just coincidence that the only Buell I see in CLASS are Uly's? At least I had fun making my own ground clearance. Hey Buell, where's my next sport touring bike? In other news, try as I might, I could not upset the Dunlop Qualifiers. ~800lbs (bike+rider+gear) and 150HP just could not make the tires uncomfortable. Now if only I could get 8000miles out of them. I was there on 10/9 on a uly. I was the one with the tall windsheild. H ad a blast. Never done it before. My brand new dunlop 208s looked worse than yours. There are no chicken strips on my tires. |

There were 2. Mine with the tall windshield and a guy from Florida with no windshield. I was somewhat intimidated by the racetrack and all the rules about passing in different places. Got the hang of it after lunch and passed a lot of people, but could only pass in the curves. My buddy on a ZX14 said he saw you and it looked like the fairing was going to touch the ground you had it leaned over so far. |
