Just an FYI, I get the same error. In fact I logged on to specifically report the error. It started for me last night. Ahhh, those pesky ISP's Brad |

I think the problem is my fault for specifying a too liberal limit on search results, but we are being careful. Don't want to bring down the server... again. |

It looks like the permissions of the file search.cgi have somehow changed. It should be the same as the other script files (discus.cgi, board-contact.cgi, board-file.cgi, etc). Those all work correctly. I don't think it has anything to do with the limit on search results.

The search script has been disabled. It was working fine, it was just sucking all the CPU and RAM from the server. That is why it was disabled. The too high limit on search results allowed the over-run of CPU and RAM. Someone probably put a very common word in their search string thus it ran away. |

OK, that explains it. I wasn't using the Last Day that much anymore anyway because you can easily see by the New arrow what topics have new posts.

Blake, A minor tweak if possible...Could you arrange the message link in the e-mail notification up towards the last line of the message (above the "do not reply..." ) and move the profile link down to the end? DAve |
