I got caught in a rain storm and after about 20 min it started running on 1 cyl. really rough- if I held the throttle wide open it would take like 10 seconds to rev to 6k. started it the next morning and it was fine. anyone run into that? -side note, when I picked it up at the dealer, he started it then said wait a minute, came back and said they need to chage out the front plug because its missing. maybe more than a plug? www.xb9s.com |

this is a relatively common problem in wet climes, cured by applying a little dielectric grease to the insides of the spark plug boots, thus preventing electricity meant for a spark plug electrode from grounding out to a cylinder head as it seeks the path of least electrical resistance. worked on my S2 when i lived up in the Specific Northwet, it did. best, FB |
