My LSR race team sponser "Gover's HD" just started to carry Buells and they seem very excited about it. http://www.goverhd.com/ (located in Piqua, 25 mi N of Dayton,OH) These are real nice, honest folks that still say "hello, how are you" to each person coming through the doors. A fatherson team Of Jim Gover Sr and Jr run this shop. Jim jr has been trying to get Buells in the shop for over a year now. He just got 2 new Lightnings and a Blast, and awaits his first shipment of Firebolts (one of which will be his). The Buells are right up front and center when you walk in, a good sign imho. They want to be a good Buell shop and are aware of some of the general complaints of Buell owners against the HD dealers. Any constructive comments or ideas for them to consider or implement? Please be polite.... |

Hi Jim, I think they have the most important part covered already..."they want to be a good Buell shop"...as you said. If the son is riding a Firebolt that's going to be a big plus too. He'll know it's strengths and be able to point them out to those customers who come in but are on the fence about getting one. Tell him to race kit his 'Bolt (I waited till after break in), it will wake it up and sound much better. Timbo |
