I needed a suit for the track. I was supposed to go to Penguin road racing school on May 12th. I really don't like the look or feel of a 2 piece suit, and trying to buy any suit locally is not easy. I am also short on cash and with the school only 2 weeks away, I am now short on time. I ordered a Joe Rocket one piece suit from Dennis Kirk's metric catalog. It will arrive tomorrow. This morning I was taking a shit and flipping through the catalog. I looked again at the Joe Rocket suit that I ordered. They has pictures of what looked like a 2 piece suit. I then went on Joe Rocket's website and yes, those pictures were of a 2 piece suit. I was hoping that they just used the wrong pictures for the catalog, but I called Dennis Kirk just to be sure. The product description was wrong, and they do not have the one piece suits available. Now I have to send this thing back, wait for my refund and buy another suit (locally this time, probably by Dainese). This won't possibly happen within 2 weeks, so I got screwed out of going to this class. The next one isn't until July 28th. Do you think that it will be hot enough then? |

What Daves said. All should not be lost. newenough.com should be able to get you an in-stock suit in time for your track day. |

Daves, just so Eboos is fully armed with info, would the BADWEB discount apply if he ordered a JR suit through you? if so, it seems like an offer he couldn't/shouldn't refuse... FB |

Eboos, what size are you? I have a Vanson Custom one piece that is in great condition, but it is getting small on me, or am I getting big in it? Anyway, I'm local, maybe we could make a deal. My email is in my profile.... |

I like leafing through catalogs while sitting on the shitter too. Go to your local Cycle shop, find the best one piece suit you can find, buy it with a credit card and find it's uncomfortable or too small and return it after the race weekend. Check their return policy 1st! I do not condone that behaviour, so try to pick a Buell bashing Hayabusa friendly shop to do it to. I would never do that to Daves, or Clown! |

i have looked at suits too, being 6'1" and 155 pounds makes it alittle bit harder to find one ready made. i actually have been leaning more towards a 2 piece but thats just me. |

Personally I just can't wear anything that says "Joe Rocket" all over it. Might be good stuff But I can hear my excuse to the LEO falling on deaf ears. I can hear it now.... "Well Mr. Rocket this is going to cost you". I take a lot of shiot at my local watering hole already (nickname is Power Ranger). Can you imagine the crap I would take if I walked in with "Joe Rocket" splacked all over me? Chaperral motorsports has become a Joe Rocket exclusive retailer when it comes to leathers. Shame. |

There's nothing better than a good dump on a comfy crapper with the latest issue of your favourite mag or catalogue to read. One of life's simple pleasures; |

I would recommend heading down to the Vanson factory in Fall River, MA. I picked up a used suit for $490. They have some smokin' deals there. Its in good shape and will pay for itself after about 3 track days. You can always trade up or have have work done at the outlet too. |
