I recently purchased an aftermarket air intake system (TNT) for my 2000 S3T. There was no instruction or accommodation for the ventilation tubes, or for the air flow sensor. I drilled holes in the backing plate and positioned the vent tubes. I did the same with the flow sensor, but I am a little concerned about the flow sensor...It seems to be working o.k., but can anybody give me the scoop? What is the right way of doing this?

it will likely be ok if the hole does not admit trash to the intake or hot air,

usualy the "breathers" are routed else where with a catch can, check the kv,

fyi I have the force winder and the IAT is under the "sock" be-hind the fitler no issues..

I had some sealing graumets that fit the tubing and hole pretty snug. I don't see that trash can get in. Hot air on the other hand...it is right next to the heads...

Is the air flow sensor tuned for the stock intake system? Does it matter where the sensor is placed?

Thanks,
Benton
