Author Message   Buellgirlie Posted on Monday, April 10, 2006 - 01:02 am:        went on a 150 mile ride today with a Honda RC51, Honda CBR 954, and a Ducati Monster 750 - some local folks i'd met recently who invited me along on a ride. at first, the 2 Hondas were taking it pretty easy, and then the RC51 decided to start haulin' butt....so i decided to follow - which ended up leaving the CBR behind (but he caught up - sheesh those things can GO). but i kept right on them up into the triple digits (even though i was revving pretty hard in every gear - i actually found the rev limiter a couple times by accident - oops) yes they can take off on me, but the buell can keep up and catch up! granted, we didnt go way fast into the stratosphere where their bikes would still accelerate and mine would explode (but we hit 110-120ish....) the monster was left way behind....but to his credit, he had a really worn rear tire and was trying to take it a little easier. i think i convinced 3 guys that a Buell is worth taking a look at yay buell!
