My 97 Buell M-2 is the best bike that I have owned. I have owned over 30 bikes, including Yamahas, Hondas, Suzukis, etc. I love the torque, the sound, how it handles, sits, and LOOKS! I have almost 35000 miles on it, and it goes everywhere....REX |

My pals say I bought the Buell because Yancy Butler on "witchblade" rides one. Yeah thats it, it's a fanboy thing. I bought my '01 M2L w/out a test ride, without knowing about you guys, pure impulse. Strangest part is it FEELS exactly like I thought it would. Yeah, so far I'm Happy. |

It's not because of Yancy I bought it, really, there's the whole engineering thing, and torque, and... no really, its just a joke, Yancy had nothing to do with it. Methinks I Dost protest too much? lol Nice '00 Lightning |

Gee thanks, Now I gotta start watching more TV. Did I mention that I just LOVE my 98 S1 and I too bought it sight unseen (except for a picture) not knowing about this site. To be honest with all the negative input by some members I may not have purchased it. Minor problems are nothing to gripe about fix them and get over it, if you still unsatisfied with hte machine then sell it to someone that appreciates the Buell Experience. Did I mention the S1 is the best Buell ever built!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Charlotte....If you spend too many more winters in the great white northern, you're ass will get big enough. LOL. Then the seat will feel just fine |

I'm a happy S2T owner. Used to have a 98S1W and a 99M2 and they were just fine. No complaints other than the M2 was just too fast! Yes, faster than the S1W...but now that JA has the S1W, the top end speed has improved! Considerably! I'm just slogging around on an '02 900SS now. Feels kinda surgical where the Buells were more ax-like. No problems, super machine. Air cooled V-twins are a whole lotta' fun. |

PS, I went to a meeting yesterday in St Paul MN. Buell sales are UP!!! July/Aug/Sept up 36% Oct up 43% Nov get ready!up 71%!!!!!!!!! compared to last years numbers. There is going to be a big push on Buells during the winter dealers meeting next month. I closed the deal yesterday to get to be one of the "poster" children for Buell(maybe not a good choice on Buells part). So much for the "naysayers"! Ride to the edge! Very happy owner of a '03 XB9R here! Been raining the last couple days though, not happy about that. I'm not surprised by the sales numbers. I know wherever I go, and even at stoplights, this bike gets a lot of interest. Timbo |

I won't ever part with my '99 S3T. Does everything I want from drag racing, hooliganism smokey burnouts to high speed long distance touring. Impressive economy from a highly modified machine. Even get the "Thumbs up" from most all cage and truck drivers with the traditional "H-D" decals in the rear window. I'm even learning to lean over. Never lost the sides of soles on all my prior choppers! I enjoy the challenge of getting the fuel injection dialed in perfectly for all the modifications. Gary Valine did a superb job with the race module. It's handled everything I've thrown at it and takes it in stride. Bored throttle body and higher flow rated injectors haven't phased it. Last Dyno pull netted 108 ponies at the tire and 95.3 torque. And that was with a top end with over 22,000 hard miles on it. Do I love it? You betcha!!! 'Ole Baldie |

Char, The saddle you should get is a Corbin, I have the Gunfighter (I think) for my S1 with the passenger part, the passenger is not much good unless your about 90lbs. I find this saddle very good and I have pulled 1000-1500km days with no problems. |

I really dig that "Witchbrow" chick. She's a hottie...and her bike needs more exposure on that show! I bought my S1 sight unseen, too. I read up on everything I could find here and from the cycle mags I had scooped up since '95. Uncompromising, quirky, fun...perfect! I never even rode one, but sitting on one at a dealer it truly fit like a glove...more so than any other bike...and even both my feet touched the ground! I prefer the slim lines and trim seat of this bike...as well as the naked look and stubby tail. The first ride full of accidental wheelies and adrenaline pumping hard stops confirmed that I had made the right choice. |

Char... Stick with the health foods and veggies! I just can't imagine you as a full figured Wisconsin Woman. In fact, try and get the rest of the locals to follow your lead. Then, just maybe, the Tomahawk rally won't be such a bummer next year! LOL |

I got my Blast! because my wife said I could get a motorcycle. When I picked one, she told me that $5K was my limit. The only other motorcycle experience I had was riding a KZ-440 about 2 miles when I was a teenager. All I can say is, It's a Blast! I thought I wanted a Harley, but now I know I wouldn't be happy if I couldn't lean. I might try an XB later, but it won't be a trade--I'm keeping my Blast! Sure, it's gutless among motorcycles, but I pull ahead of cars without a problem. |

Hell yeah...I am very glad that Buells depreciate at a typical sportbike rate...and hopefully the fuel framers will make it more so. |
