So far the news says there are no reports of severe injuries of fatalities. At least that's good. I don't however expect an Aussie reply for a little while 'cuz I'm sure all the utilities are out. |

I have a friend and fellow Bueller in Townsville, and it just passed to his north. I heard from him just prior to the land fall, and he was expecting a loss of power, and was busy battening down the hatches, but took the time to say...'No Worries Mate!, but he was pretty concerned as it was a Cat 5.' I have sent a few emails sence with no responce, so I presume a loss of power... |

My buddy from Townsville just emailed, said it was a wild ride, but all is ok there, up north may be a different story... |

I heard from Ross and he was inland enough to just get some winds,Paul is well south of where it hit. |
