Lots of people swear by the Buell Traction grips. Cost ~$14.95 and come with a new throttle tube for the throttle grip and glue with applicator for the other grip. I just installed a set of Tacki Grips on my S3. They're the same "barrel" shape as the Traction grips but have much finer ribbing on the surface and are slightly larger in diameter. They are about the same firmness. I find them a little more comfortable (but not much) than the Traction grips. They're ~$9.95 from many motorcycle aftermarket outlets (Chapparal, Dennis Kirk, etc.). |

I'm one of those that swears by the traction grip's...I haven't found a better buy on a better grip yet, but the ones Whodom is talking about sound pretty good. Larry |

Traction grips are the best. I recommend them. |

The biggest thing for the traction grips is the throttle side is already on and glued on so you don't have to force it onto the handlebar. Plus, for the price I'd say they're worth it. I have them on my 9SX and love them. Fit's my hand like a glove. |

The ones Whodom notes sound pretty good....seen one set of them before. I personally like the Traction Grips and because my dealer is going away I got a couple of extra sets for the good price they go for...looks like I will be using them for a some time... |
