A thought about entry fees... ...The point is, for Appleton's sake I think this event is worth more than a ticket to bad movie. -- Reg
agree 100%.
re: BattleTrax entry fee, i would pay up to $20 to enter without a moment's hesitation if i didn't have to share track time with anything other than street legal motorcycles.
for my $20 entry fee, i want a nice piece of hardware to add to the collection, should i be fortunate enough at the end of the day to deserve one.
Top Time works for me, no interest in "bracket", altho i readily acknowledge the logic and appeal of the latter.
i've enjoyed every BattleTrax i've ever competed in (eleven, if memory serves, altho the two i crashed at were less enjoyable..), and know first-hand that Reg works his arse off and earns every penny of his fee.
the return i've gotten from competing in BattleTrax over the years is invaluable, and IMO a "modest" entry fee is entirely reasonable and appropriate.

Questions in no order of importance, just as they come out of my brain.
1. The event will in Appleton WI. Who will come?

2. What month works best for you? JUNE/JULY
3. Would you be willing to pay an admission fee?

4. How much do you think is fair? ???
5. Saturday or Sunday? Both? BOTH
6. Interest in a BRAG club challenge?

8. Who would be willing to work their butt off all day, probably in the hot sun for free to help me? POSSIBLE

If I hadn't had a wife with a baby due *any minute now* I would have been at homecoming... So yes, that would probably get me... especially if there were other goodies scheduled, factory tours, guided rides, etc. |

Plaques... All though I have seen meer mortals break bikes and bodies all for the glory and a 8x10 certificate

NO, keep the focus on the riders, it makes them feel like king of the world to be in the spotlight for a day

7. See #5. But I prefer fastest because that tends to push you to improve your riding skilz and see the limits of your bike.
