Walmart.
Cost about two bucks a piece.
Part number is: Super Tech ST 4967 . Last time I bought some they were exactly the same as the official Buell part.
While you are there, you might want to stock up on Mobil 1.
15w50 for the motor, 75w90 gear oil for the transmission.

Right You are, Nemo-
The 51515 is longer with a higher capacity....
same bypass pressure, though. the 51215 is their capacity match.
i prefer a longer, higher capacity filter

Any chance of getting part numbers for a S2T other than the WIX?
The only local dealer for the WIX doesn't exist anymore.
Thanks...

The Wix 51515 is the old 1 qt. Ford filter.

Ford has a Harley-Davidson Edition truck -

Is there a connection here?

Hmmmmmm.

to find the 1 qt. filter for your buell in other filter makes, just refrence the ford truck filter, the FL1A, which is also the Fram PH8A.
stick with the WIX, hwenever possible. based on exhaustive double-blind testing, it's got the best filtration @ the same pressure

I have the Banke frame brace on my S1, so the ford truck filter (FL1A/PH8A...etc.) wont fit in there. I got the Ford Escort FL400 (or equivalent), and it fits nicely. Longer than the factory filter, for more capacity...but the same diameter, so it fits with my brace.

Well I tried the Walmarts Supertech equivelant of the Fram PH8A. Won't work as it is about an inch or so bigger in diameter. Is there a sporster filter that is the same as a S2T? I do have a local HD shop about ten minutes away. Any and all help appreciated.
