I rode the XB12s, r and City Cross when they were here in June. I like the Firebolt but for everyday riding the lightning would be the choice. Get there early and sign up for more than one. Mostly Harley guys at the ride here so they didn't bother with the Buells. I got there really early and was enlisted to help gas the bikes up. I actually got to ride most of the bikes on the truck. |

EDMS: My normal ride is a 2000 S3. At March Badness this year I tried a City X and a Lightning low (XB12Sg or whatever they call it now). One thing to be aware of is the Pirelli tires on the City Cross feel MUCH better than the Dunlops that are standard on all the other bikes. I liked the City X a lot but I did miss the torque of my 1200. Just keep in mind that tire changes are inevitable and can make a BIG difference in the way the bike feels. I'd be careful that didn't keep me away from the model I otherwise liked best. |
