see the motor mount? there's space at the end of that shaft. it has a good 1/4" gap, it's my brothers bike, he just got it last week, don't know much about them new fangle xb jobbies.

That's normal. It's a rubber mount and is part of the uniplanar vibration isolation mounting system. |

LOL! I took my Buell on a 1,500 mile ride the day after I bought it and found the same thing on my walk over part way through the ride. I was ready to park the bike as it would not tighten down. Thankfully my uncle has lots of old school Harley time (and a land speed record in 1970) and he reconized it as nessecary due to the shaking, rattling and rolling of the motor. |

bravo to skyguy by not bein a wussy...a 1500 mile ride the day after he bought it sounds like a dedicated biker to me... i assume your no stranger to the two wheeled saddle...and my friends are giving me a hard time about going a little over a 1000 miles in one day come september...if they only knew i'm not the only guy in the world that thinks that soreness is all part of the biker experience...i guess it's cuz they all ride jap bikes...not everyone can be perfect...lol...atleast theyre riding vtwins i guess...good for u skyguy...i'll let u know how my first "big ride" goes...prez |
