uh oh! You shouldn't have used the "old" term. The politically correct term is "historically advantaged"

I used the stock guards from the 98 S1.

Now if the chain ever lets go then its chewing up the guards.

I think the chain makes it look MEAN!!!!

Ceej -- well, define significant [grin}

saved some, no doubt -- also, squint and imagine my scoot with an alloy oil bag (never winter's I'm saving for it now project) -- I was kinda going for an indutrio-cafe racer gestalt kinda thing . . . .

as for what you can, or cannot, get away with at home, allow me to remind you that more LEOs get injured in the line while involved with domestic distrubances than in any other activity -- I ain't going there for ya, brother ;-}

my wife doesn't tell me what to do with the MaDeuece, and I don't tell her what to do with her Bonnie -- seems to be workin so far {bigger grin}

So, Bomber, at home you refrain from making comments about significant amounts of weight and your wife's tail section?

Wise. Very wise.

nossir -- I make complimentary comments on a daily basis --

silence would be viewed almost as negatively as suggestions --

sides, compliments are easy, truthful, and result in a highly favorable ROI

lucky dog, lucky dog ;-}

No matter how nice your wife's tail section is, she will never be happy with it.

I agree with Bomber - complementary comments on a daily basis makes life easy.

Oh the other thing I learned early in life was NEVER, NEVER tell her "She looks fine!!!!"

fine is a very bad four letter word that must be used with caution and when told to you must always be ignored, cause it's got too many meanings for me to understand. An alloy oil bag, now it looks much better! I follow you, that is one of my projects also, but first I have to get a welder, but to get one of those I have to build an addition, plumb it, electrify it, and finish it, guess I need to use the compliments daily approach more often.

Tripp,
99 X1 with an "A.S.B." Carbon Fiber Fender.
X1 and M2 are different Fenders, but Sprocket position should be the same.
Sprocket is the same outer Diameter as Stock Pulley.
I did catch the Front Edge one time. (with a Passenger)

if you're askin me about the sproket cover/brace, it was made in the Entropy Lab (AKA My Garage) . . .

use an impact gun and the right sized socket -- box end will hurt, both you and the bike
