Got the only one I got pay day night Feburary 1961 in Fayetteville N.C. A young paratrooper can't live without some ink! It is a faded mess now. But I did take a picture of a neat tat last summer in some bar, some where. (Message edited by BCordb3 on July 04, 2005) |

Chase, go to www.xat.com Get their jpg resizer. It's free. You can reduce the dimensions of a picture and it's file size. Very simple and easy. |

I got four at the moment with a few more to be done when I can afford them. The two on my arms were redone a couple of years ago. This one was just the eagle, I had the flag and USAF added to it. Did ten years. The cross is a complete cover up as the last one got scarred on a cobblestone road while trying to tow start my GS1100 (long story, dumb idea)in Italy. This one was just the heart with my wifes name, had the "In Memory of" banner and dates added after she passed. Finally this is a phoenix that was the first one I got way back in 1989. It's definately seen it's better days, needs to be redone one day. As viewed together... Thanks to my daughter for taking the pics. (Message edited by imeazy on July 05, 2005) |

-Chase, Shoot me your email address, I'll see if I can't give you an "email" tutorial on the fine art of XAT over the next couple of days. Actually fairly simple once you get the hang of it. bjohnson at usinternet dot com Brad |

Tramp - pretty darn close. I don't belong to any M/C club though... more the loner type. The tat is actually a one of a kind. I had the artist draw up what he would give me for $40. Man nowadays it would cost well over $100. Inflation sucks! I had the two on my arms redone for $100 for both, but I knew the artist. Wasn't real happy with the detail though. Probably have them redone one day as well. |

Only tattoo I have is *Jack* on my left bicep. Got that in about 1965 from in a tattoo shop next to the bus station on 7th St. in San Francisco. The tattoo ain't much but as a trivia quiz, can anyone guess who put it on for me? Jack |

BadS1 said: "Sailor Jerry" Not a bad guess, but it was Lyle Tuttle himself. And it cost me $7.00. There was a couple of Hell's Angels and their "ladies" in for tattoos that night too, the ladies were getting their's in the back room in private. I went in the Navy a few months later, stayed for 26 years and probably saw about one of every kind of tattoo but never got another one. Some of the best work then came out of Taiwan and Hong Kong. Great detail and some colors and shading that were not found in the Western World at the time. Jack |

Yeah, that pretty much sums up why I will never get one. I just don't understand it. I will say though, I am sure many of them will look interesting when people get to be in their 70's and older... |

Armband drawn up by a fraternity brother of mine while I spent 2 weeks with him while he was working in the Netherlands. Ran out of money in NL so I had to get it done at Sturgis in 2000. The flames on the edges aren't exactly as per the artwork though which has made many a person ask 'Cool, are you going to get that colored in?'. What's wrong with a little blackwork? I think it fits me though... 1313 |
