This may not be the right place to post( admin please delete if not appropriate ) I graduated in 1988. RG Cole jr-sr High school( yes I went to school with Shaq) I am looking for my buddy I havn't talked to in ten years. Last I knew he was in the Air Force headed for Korea. His name is Michael Eads. I stumbled across 'Reunion.com' this morning and found his name. they had it listed as Name:Michael Eads State: AE City: APO Age: 35 School: RG Cole High School I know it is him, but I can't join to get the information. Question # 1: Does anyone have a membership to this site? Q# 2: Is there anyother way that I can track him down that won't cost an arm and a leg If anybody can help: buellin8tor atyahoo.com Thanks, JIM |

I can tell you that he is in Europe serving in either the air force or army if that is his address. |

yep...although that could be the 'last known' on file w/reunion.com. didja try just entering his name in excite.com's 'white pages', and/or checking your old school district's white pages for "Eads" (can't be terribly common), and then explaining yourself to whomever answers and leaving *your contact info as opposed to requesting his*? you should be able to join "classmates.com" and get a message to him, as well. They're a bit more reputable and they update info for their own contacting of members for other members' purposes. (Message edited by tramp on June 24, 2005) |

Have you tried locating/call his parents? I tried this approach when I was trying to find a friend of mine that I served with in Panama back in 1985. |

Thanks for everyone's input. I tries excite.com and found only one entry that is close to his, will call tomorrow. Classmates I have a membership to and unfortuanately(sp?) he is not registered. Buellidan-He is in the AirForce, do you know what those abbreviations stand for? ie-where is he at. If I knew that I might be able to narrow the search to a specified area. The information has to be current do to some facts that are posted. Thanks again. |

is there some reason the USAF can't jut tell you were he is stationed and give you some contact in formation. Or is he a "top secret" kind of guy. |

has nothing to do with secrecy or I-clearance... the location, mos, etc. of ALL dod personnel is confidential, as well it should be |

That is correct. The privacy act of 1974.... BUT, when I get back to my HQ on tuesday or thursday, I will try a few things for you. In the Navy we use NMCI, the personell locator cna be usefull across all services..if my access still works, I just need a DoD computer(IP)... But, APO AE then there will be a zip... IF you can find the "zip", mail him... Micheal Eads (Command name) APO AE XXXXX-XXXX You can sometimes get away with out using the command name, sometimes not... I will try to dig something up for ya..... Chase EDIT, I talked to a friend of mine @ Randolf AFB. ping me offline(if you want), and I will give you more info... how did you do checking his surname on excite? odds are, with such an uncommon surname, you'd find a relative easily, and they could pass your info along to the young airman |

His middle name is Eugene, after his father. Tried privateeye, found old information, no forwrds or updates. Excite-same luck! Reunion seems to have only the most current information. Chase PM'd you. |
