As you may have noticed on page 14 of the May/June Fuell magazine (or not)…
Once again, your friendly neighborhood Golden State BRAG Club is heading to the Spring Mountain Motorsports ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. Last year we had more than 20 Buellers!
buells!

We are working on getting at least that many this year.
Here are a few of Timbo's pics from last year’s event:

Like Slaughter has said before,
”We don't get any kickback - the motivation is pure FUN!”

Golden State BRAG has put together a great deal for a two day track day with Sport Bike Track Time in Pahrump, Nevada on June 11th and 12th. It is run by Sportbike Track Time and we'll all have an area staked out for the Buells so you'll feel right at home.

The special pricing we’ve arranged is one day for $135, or both days for $255, normal price is closer to $285 for the 2-day package.
The prices include:
-Instruction
-Breakfast, Lunch, and lots and lots of fluids (you’ll need it)

We will also have available (for extra $):
-Dyno tuning
-Michelin tire service
-Fuel (Vp)
-Massage (It’s amazing what a difference a 10 minute massage can make in your riding, or if you’re old like me, at the end of the day).
-Photos

In order to get the discount, I have an official BRAG form (PDF) – just ping me and I can email it to you. We also have dibs on a block of rooms at the Pahrump Nugget ( www.pahrumpnugget.com ).

To further sweeten the deal, Todd Robinson (manager, Western Region Operations - Sportbike Track Time) will have a raffle, open only to BRAG members, for a free track day – that could save you $150, since these track days are very addictive!

You will have good access to instructors. They'll be conducting briefings before and after your track sessions and will be riding with you on the track. They will both follow you (to observe and also find your speed/comfort level) and then lead you for a lap or two at a speed they know you are comfortable going. They'll talk with you in the class afterwards. They can also take requests and will watch for specifics if asked. They'll also leave you alone too!
track instruction

Their new-to-track group is run as a school with specific on-track drills AND after the first couple sessions, they start working with you on your riding technique. It’s a great way to learn in a controlled environment.

Of course, there's no requirement to take the class sessions but I bet after the first time you do, you'll probably always want to sign up for the instruction on future track days simply because you gain so much.
candice after class

A bunch of us have done this before and if you are at all uncertain about suspension setup, we can help you out (amazing what a difference a properly setup bike can make!) and we typically carry enough spares between us all to build a backup bike if need be =)

Sorry if this sounds like a commercial, but this stuff is a lot of fun and the sound of 20 Buells on the race track is unlike any other!!!
