Doesn't look like I can rent a bike in LA, thinking about shipping my own bike via Forward Air instead. Looks like I might be able to get the bike in the small box by putting it in on the diagonal or removing the front wheel. Anyone tried it? |

I had mine shipped to me from Utah to Ohio cost a bit $400 and they can give the dimensions you need to fit into but all they did to mine was build a frame around each wheel, connect the two frames, take off the mirrors, strap it down to said frame and then cover with 1/8" plywood. viola its done. Mine got to me 3/4 tank of gas, full oil, full brake fluid. I had it out of the box and pulling wheelies a half hour later. box later became another work bench for me, so I think they are great. |

G-Jon...Contact Lake Bueller, aka Dennis Fenrick. He has used and highly recommends Forward Air. In fact, I believe he has an inside track with them. If you don't want to search for him, you can find him on the Appleton HD/BMC thread and a few other threads that focus on BRAG in Wisconsin and Track Days at Road America, Blackhawk Farms, etc. |
