I originally put this on the XB board but the question is more generic... I've never been in the HD dealer here in Tucson, but several years ago they were fined for "misleading customers about warranty items". If I buy a used or new Buell. I'll have to deal with them - or drive to Phoenix (2.5 hr drive). Anyone here have a comment about them (good or bad)? |

if your worried buy a Buell from one of the dealer who are Sponsors here. I know DaveS with Appleton has no problems selling out of state and I am sure none of the others would either. As for instate, TuscanXB has used them. See if their prices match Arrowhead. I myself use Hacienda for all my service work but their floor selection isn't the best. Chandler has a mixed reputation amongst the AZ crowd. Welcome to the sickness and check out the AZbuellers section of the stormfronts board |

Since you asked, I haven't done business with them since 98. They were the only authorized Buell dealership in Arizona at that point in time. Haven't a CLUE how their service department is today. One important note or piece of advise. Make sure -YOU- are totally happy with the dealership -BEFORE- you -BUY- a Buell in Arizona, unless you plan on doing all the work yourself. I haven't dealt with any Buell dealership in the Phoenix area in about year now but they were absolutely a bunch of bozo's before. There are a few Arizona dudes here, but make sure they're not just accepting second rate service since there's nothing to compare it to. Sometimes some have to accept what'z available, but there' no need in calling it great service. Ask them how many times they've dealt with the dealership too and how many miles they have on their bike. Love my Buell(s) hate the dealerships. The lack of a good dealership is the only thing holding me back from buying another Buell (and maybe my freaking back problem). You might have better luck posting here too. Good luck, -SD: |

I've got some 04 models that I can work a pretty good deal on. I can check on shipping if you are interested. I'm at home today, but you can send me a pm if you like and I will respond tomorrow. cameron@stonemountainhd.com |

Hey Wyck...it's TUCSON...not TUSCAN! Got Italy and Tuscany on the brain? Nevar...I replied to your post on the XBoard about this. Good luck! |

Smokedaddy, they picked up some Buell friendly staff, their service writer Brady is an XBer and they now have a dedicated Buell tech. 18000 miles on my XB and they have done all my TPS resets and warranty work with no complaint and quick ACCURATE turnaround. No having to go back because it was fixed right the first time. That has been since Nov '03 now. There are one or two people in the staff who I could care less about, but if its a service issue ask for Brady and he will get you taken care of. For parts I usually call DaveS since the dealers here still don't get the concept of what a stocking item is. |
