While replacing the fuel pump, I discovered that the problem was actually a broken wire. Not sure how it happened, but the wire broke right where it comes out of the epoxy thing-a-magigger. No wire left to splice. The manual doesn't say what that condenser looking thing is and I can't find any replacement online. Does anyone know what purpose that serves and any suggestions for a fix or workaround? I don't have a picture of the broken one. I stole a picture from another post of a good one. |

Well, I'm not sure what the thingamajig is, but the way you describe the broken wire, I wouldn't be looking for a workaround; I'd be looking for a replacement thingamajig and call it a day. Most workarounds fail at the least convenient time and usually the furthest distance from home. |

I've been searching for a replacement. Manuals do not describe what this is or a part number. The workaround would be a last resort if a replacement is not available. |
