I only got one key when I bought the bike, I know they are called Ace keys (I always called em tubular keys) no one in my area does em, I have no clue on how to get the code for mail order copies, any suggestions would be appreciated |

If it is the original barrel key you can remove the black plastic cover from the key and there will be 4 digits etched on the key. You can go to any Harley dealer and they can order you a set. They will have Harley logos on them instead of the Buell logo but the part number is 71452-91A/XXXX. Replace the four X's from the that part number with the four digits on your key and that is the part number to order. Its around $30, takes around two weeks to arrive and comes with two keys. |

Have you tried smaller shops? I would assume normal places like lowes/home depot wouldn't make them at their key cutting stations, but I got mine cut a block from my work at a place that I think usually does more security system installations and monitoring. When you go in they have walls covered in all kinds of different keys and had pretty much anything. Somewhere like that or a locksmith shop should still be able to cut one for you, and would probably charge you less than $5 for it. If I could get a nice barrel key with the Buell logo on it, I'd definitely be willing to pay a little more for it though. |
