changing from CV to S and S , anyone with advice on throttle cables? doesnt look like the stock will work | ||

S&S sells a cable for the XL that works with the E or G. Not sure how that will play out with a Buell. May work with an S2 throttle assembly the S1/M2/S3 may be a different story. I know others have made the same switch, hopefully they will chime in. | ||

Buells after the S2 use metric controls like Kawasaki and others. Buells S2 and earlier use Harley-Davidson controls. Unless someone here who has performed the conversion responds, try metric to S&S. | ||

ok I figured it out , S & S had a cable guide made for the switch , found it on their site, ordered it this morning, hopefully they still have em in stock, tech guy told me they are discontinuing most of the Buell specific line | ||

They're not Buell specific. Used on all Evo big twins and Sportsters converting from CV to S&S. | ||
