Im sitting here looking at parts. Its Christmas. Im deployed and want things... LED headlight(not something that looks like an alien) Carb Kits( tried buying a CVP but there is no buy button for the damn kits. Crossroads Handlebars or something similar(I was thinking clipons but they seem to be to low) what are someother dirt bike style options that would be lower and fit bar end mirrors? Turn Signals. I am not a fan. What are some options for these things? |

LED Headlights. Have had these for a year now and working great. I have bought all my LEDS from superbrightleds.com. Pluses: No fan, fits right into existing position, get two for $25 to $50! Yes, they come in pairs only; https://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle/1998-buell -s3-thunderbolt-vehicle-led-lights?make=89&model=3 201&year=1998 |

DO NOt buy anything from CVP over priced and unnecessary... Any complete chinese kit on Ebay is fine! Yep BUT do NOT use the chinese jets...you have to find keihin jets.. Jawzys I know is a seller with jets.. a good kit with have a float a diaphragm a copy of a stock need[ which you should be runnin[only lifted] and some misc.. If you want the carb modded for when you get back.Look at the mods it should have on YT , I do them all and they run great when I'm done and I put them on shovels ironheads and even on a triumph 650 i cobbled together an intake adapter i want to cast.Plus gonna try on a pan before spring.. Then just get someone to send me the carb, tell me the mods or not on the motor and I'll get the kit..If you want to do it, PM me .. that goes for anyone else that wants their Keihin CV carb woked up! |

T S wise I fished around and found some " dots" maybe 1 in dia made on the head of a bolt with a single bigass SMD and a concave glass lens. The most stealth signals I've found anywhere .cheap too on evilbay.. |

Nothing fancy or expensive required for turn signals, and even headlights so long as solid figment and night riding isn’t your thing. Just recently went with these signals from Amazon, wired together as brake and signals. Small but bright. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07SZDDZFJ/ref=ppx_ yo_mob_b_track_package_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Headlight, all sort of budget friendly options. Look for a 7” light. Went with this one myself for the simple styling. No issue on the fit. I don’t ride at night on this bike but appears a good increase at least in brightness. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07FCH2PKH/ref=ppx_ yo_mob_b_track_package_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

Those do look cool. What kind of pain is it to wire in. Dont we need line levelers or a diff signal relay? |

I have those turn signals, I love them. You don't need anything special for the resistance since the turn signals are wired to blink on their own, meaning if you touch the wires directly to a battery they still flash. I pulled the flasher relay from my bike and just connected the wires. The one difference is that the idiot light on my dashboard doesn't flash, it just stays on solid when the signals are flashing, not sure if that would bug you or not. |
