I have been using a cobbled-together gantry set up but I want something that is easier to use. I am looking for a stand that employs a pin in the lower triple clamp as the lifting point. What have you used? What would you recommend? Thanks, Dave |

I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/Venom-Motorcycle-Triple-Hea dlift-Kawasaki/dp/B00AV8HPX6/ref=sr_1_18?dchild=1& keywords=motorcycle+front+stand&qid=1599333009&sr= 8-18 This style is a little tight on the lower bikes (like an Scg or EBR) , but I think the fender clearance on a tuber is much bigger so it won't be a problem for you. |

Bsanorton, I just looked at Pit Bull website and didn't see a listing for my S3 or for X1. Will it work for your S3 or X1? If so, which model lift do you have? Thanks |

Yes I have the one Steve posted and one for the rear. The pins you can change for other bikes. I bought them used and saved some money |

I used to have that front Pit Bull lift, I very stupidly sold it. I'll grab another someday. The pins are all replaceable so you can buy the pin and use it for any bike you have/will have, just replace the pin with whatever size you need. The single sided swingarm stand are the same way. I have one for the Speed Triple I used to own. Sold the bike but was smart enough to hang on to the stand this time, so when I own another bike with a SS Swingarm someday, I can just buy a new pin for it. Anyway, as far as your actual question, the Pit Bull stands are amazing and will last you the rest of your life, if you need a justification for the price tag. Otherwise, T-Rex always made nice stands that are a little cheaper. Whatever you end up with, if clearance is an issue, you might just have to pull your front fender off to fit it in there. |
