Nice examples of EBR's appear to be going for less that 8K for a 2014. Getting the ol' itch, seriously considering one... SX: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Buell-1190sx/2240894 47644?hash=item342cc59cdc:g:LYkAAOSwVe1fDiTE RX: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Buell-1190-RX/193605 047019?hash=item2d13c292eb:g:1xIAAOSw7qtfJCwg I like the look of the RX.... |

The RXs are gorgeous. I typically always prefer naked bikes, but I've always felt like that giant headlight on the SX ruined the lines of the bike, so it's one situation where I'd probably take the RX. |

Agreed. I think the RX is a nicer looking bike than the SX. |

When I got my 1125, I went CR instead of R. I like the looks of the R...but the gearing was what put me on the CR. The R felt like it was always one gear too high; not right for me, for street riding. The CR is a musclecar - lower gearing, great acceleration, always in the right gear. Sure, I sacrifice some top end...but I don't need 160 on the street. I can't remember if the same gearing changes hold for the RX/SX, but if they do...definitely ride both if you can, before deciding. COMPLETELY different animals, depending on gearing. |

I felt the opposite about the 1125s. I would've gladly owned a CR, but that R has a face that only a mother could love. I've seen a couple conversions where people but XB12R fairings onto an 1125R and they looked wonderful. I'm sure the R fairing has it's benefits though. |

They were selling them for less than $7000 so the prices are actually going up. |

My SX was an absolute steal. Brand new, never ridden, less than $6k. |
