That's quite the predicament. Are you having trouble getting it across the border, or are you having a hard time getting it to a notary to have the title changed over? possibly both? |

See if you can find a motorcycle shipper and/or have it shipped as freight. |

WE need to know what the problem is . . . COVID Documents Etc . . . There are cases of folks who bought bikes and failed to know (think Porsche 959) that they had to be brought up to United States standards before they could be imported. A couple of the Yamaha Genesis 2 strokes made it in but it may take some paperwork. On the other hand . . . if it's just lack of staff due to COVID . . you may just have to be patient. |

Have the owner mail you the bill of sale and registration documents, and then when you and him meet at the border crossing have a buddy go to the CPB officers and say, "I just want to let you know I'm not with either of those guys, and I don't know whats under the seat of that bike..." CPB will definitely get into the US for you. In fact your bike will probably get to skip the line. and it will be all inspected ( another word for disassembled, but think how easy it will be to clean), when you present the documents to claim it. Well, that's kinda how it worked in 'Losin It"... |

Is that the turbo x1 with the melting paint bodywork? I was so tempted but was worried about this... |

Yeah, just because the covid/border closed...and the guy I bought it from is super cool and working on it on his end as well, just figured I’d throw it out there and see if anybody had any other ideas |

I was always wondering how it works if you buy a bike in Canada, I saw that one too as well as others, but was I am hesitant to buy. Wishing you a successful transfer! Keep us posted |

I’m in a similar situation with a bike that I sold a guy on bringstrailer in May. It’s an old Suzuki two stroke. He has a home in Canada and Michigan. He’s currently in Canada. I’m in the USA. He claims he cannot get back into the USA due to COVID to get the bike. I received payment in full but the bike is sitting here for three months now, he says he may not be able to get here until September. |
