The fork seals on my 1995 S2 are done. Where is the best place to order new ones? |

Stacey, They seem to be all over ebay, from under $10 to over $70 but I can't speak to the differences in quality or which should be avoided - I'd like to know myself. Maybe someone here has more knowledge. BTW, if you give me the last 4 digits of your S2's VIN I will add it to our Registry. |

The OEM ones were blue IIRC. There were some aftermarket options but the OEM ones were available a couple years ago from St Paul or New Castle HD. I’d try to get OEM ones first, if they are NLA, then I would go with an aftermarket option. They likely cross to a KTM part number, I know the Showas cross, not sure about the WP |

The WP forks on my S1 has seals that crossed with a KTM. That's how I managed to track down a reasonably priced set. The 97 S1 has the WP forks, right??As long as I'm not getting my forks mixed up. |

The S2 has WP Roma forks, I think they are different than the S1 WP forks. |

According to the Racetech site lookup tool, the seals are the same. FWOS 40 P. When I rebuilt the forks on my 97 S1 these were the seals I bought. I think the WP forks for the S1 were called the "ECO" model. Take all of this with a grain of salt. (Message edited by 34nineteen on June 25, 2020) |

I had a hard time matching them up exactly just based on the part number. I ended up pulling my fork seal, measuring it with some calipers, and was able to match it up with the KTM part just based on the measurements. Been almost 4 years now and they're still doing well. |
