I have an alter setup on Craigslist and this showed up today. $5000 O.B.O I have a 1995 Buell S2 Thunderbolt up for sale #187 of #1399. 7885 original miles. I'm the second owner. I purchased it in 2004. It had a new paint job done about 5 years ago due to bubbles in the paint and now the bubbles have returned. From what I have read it's a common problem with these. New battery last year. Tires have roughly 6000 miles on them. Oil has been changed every spring. Runs and rides great with no issues. Miles will change as I do ride it occasionally. NO TRADES TEXT ONLY 330-428-three zero three eight. NO test rides unless CASH in hand. https://akroncanton.craigslist.org/mcy/6697242951. html |

Which goes to show that price is solely up to the buyer. S2 is an amazing motorcycle. I loved mine up until the day in May when Bambi ran out in front of it, killing it. I honestly forget what I paid for it - because I really don't care. If you want it...buy it. You won't regret it, unless you're a moroon and don't know how to look at a used vehicle for mechanical issues. If you have common sense, and if you like riding a competent motorcycle (till the day it died, I could outrun or keep pace with current bikes on a 23 year old "boutique" bike), you can't go wrong with an S2. Be prepared that it IS 23 years old, take care of it...and it'll take care of you. |
