Now I need to figure out which cams are best. I really want more power, for more top end power and speed, without taking away from the great hard excelling torque factor.

Cams need to be matched to many thing to include cubic inches, static compression, gearing, valve springs, riding style, etc. There is no set answer.

Dan, I told Dennis to talk to you, that you'd help him pick the right cams.
Then I'll have a better idea how to best carve his T-storm heads.
At this point he's talking 1250 kit and a Stg2.

What bike? what year? There are many different cam combos out that would work with the different years, but without knowing if you are pre thunderstorm or thunderstorm, carb or efi, etc. it becomes hard to give input. Me particularly, I took my 2000 x1 and ditched the efi going back to a ported Screamin' Eagle intake and re-worked cv44 carb from Wood Carbs, a little different piston setup in my ported Thunderstorm heads and a set of Night Prowler W9BS cams (also from Wood Carbs). It's still a torque monster and gets insane top end power too boot.

It's a 2002 Thunderbolt S3T, I'm hoping for a 125 HP Street fighter. I do (or did till my clutch went) a lot of street racing.

Street racin ! That got my attention !
I guess I’m doing something similar to you guys.
I want my bike/tune to be the same for street and track. I went with a matching cam & carb from woods also to shortcut tuning time. 125HP kinda narrows things - carb, intake, head, cam exhaust have to be able to support that HP for what ever displacement you have. More cubes less RPM/factory cubes more RPM.

What clutch are you going with ?

Well I'm having NRHA and Strong head machining, their doing a stage 2 headS for me, also putting on the NRHA 1250 big bore kit. They're helping me along the way to get the power and speed I want. Clutch I'm still looking into, I'm leaning towards a Barret cutch assembly. I'm sure between Dan and Zack they're going to come close to the power I want.

So this is what Zack and Dan came up with. Using NRHA Cat 4 cam duration @.053 260/260 and a lift of .590/.590. also 30°squish Zone and springs that can take up to a.650 lift. Pistons will be a domed high top to achieve the 11:1 compression.
