Hello, I have a 02 X1. I replaced the regulator with a Buell/Harley one and was looking to see if anyone knows of a company that makes a good stator, besides the one Harley sells. |

Good? As in better than stock? Not that I'm aware of. JPCyclces or any of the aftermarket places likely carries one that will work. Is it better than stock? Who knows If your stock one failed, make sure you're not using a gear oil that is incompatible with copper, and that you're not using redline shockproof heavy. It's good stuff, but it leaves deposits on the stator that prevent it from cooling properly. Those deposits prevent all sorts of wear, but they will destroy your stator. |

Yes! better than stock. I used that redline stuff a few years ago, haven't changed it since. Now I'm wondering that is one of my problems |
