I need to put a rack and some bags on my M2. I have looked at the Ventura system and is probably what I will buy but I am wondering what else is out there if anything? |

The nicest looking solution is to find S3T bags and mounting brackets. However, these are hard to find. Also, they are prone to latch failure and case cracking but can be remedied per posts from many BadWebbers. I added Shad cases with modified Suzuki mounts to my M2. The good about SH43 cases: huge, water-proof, lockable, easily-removable,... very practical. The bad... kinda ugly. Shad SH36 or Givi V35 side cases would probably look better on an M2 but you would need to modify some mounts. |

The S3 saddlebag subframe also will not "bolt on" to an M2 frame, or at least not on mine, the attachments on the M2 side aren't there and you have to fabricate them out of stuff. I fiberglass reinforced my S3 saddlebags and made subframe connectors just to have something that sorta looks stock, but really isn't. |

I got the Ventura rack, but thought their bags were overpriced. There are various fabric saddlebags, throw-over and the like that fit M2. I think there was even a specific M2 accessory saddlebag by Buell |

Got the Ventura rack system. Fits like it was made for it, maybe because it is. Put a Tour Master bag on it. I think it is going to do what I need. The American importer had 1 in stock that is probably what they do for all the Buells. |

I used soft bags from Wolfman on my S2. I put a towel under the overstrap to protect the paint and used this set up to ride around lake Michigan, camping along the way for a week. Long term, not sure how it would hold up, but soft bags go on and come off easy, so they are a good option if your needs are not for every day storage. Just a thought. |
