I love this bike. I know it's counter to all the custom parts, but I think what would really set it off as a clean café style is a 7" round headlight, even a Truck-lite LED one in particular.

Actually, are you already going that way? It looks like you have a round headlight ring powdercoated with the rest of the bits...

I saw your post on facebook about your other shock... something about it not having a valve to be recharged? New one certainly looks like a nice replacement for an XB shock!

Basically the shocks are not serviceable by normal means. Pretty sure thats a designed in feature HD demanded as no reason not to put in a serviceable shock that can be repaired by any shock shop other then keeping the $$$ in house. But going through a company epm out of newjersey and they have all kinds of shocks even tuber stuff. Plus great prices

Amazon search clamptite tool. There are diffrent sizes this size works for most. You can get stainless aircraft wire with it in a kit. Found mine at a motorcycle show

I was going to say that I'd be worried about the wire cutting into the hose.... but I just pulled my oil tank this winter and reconnected it on Saturday(hoping the new grommets don't leak like the last ones!), and all of the hoses were pretty chewed up from the hose clamps that were on it for 20 years, so I don't think any wire clamps like that would've been any worse. Nice work.
