>>>Through SF and the golden gate bridge. That's a fun run . . . when we introduced the S1 Lightning, in 1996 . . . I kept one in the Northern CA area for weekend rides and just plain silliness . . . heading across the Golden Gate was always a trip.

Apparently the owner of the rights to the “e-series” design didn’t sell the rights to Vance and Hines, just the white bros name. Here on fuel moto’s site, they say they worked with the original designer to make their “e-series”. https://www.fuelmotousa.com/i-20859472-fuel-moto-e -series-additional-discs-8-pack.html#! |

Might be the needle bearings in a lifter. I have had one of those go on my old ironhead. The little bearings got out and killed my oil pump. Check your oil filter for shavings. The intermittent-ness makes me feel like an actual failure could happen soonish. It's more of an ordeal to pull out the lifters on an evo though with the non-collapsible tubes. I would suggest removing the filter and opening up to see if bad stuff is in there. |

No metal in oil filter but that was the second filter change since I bought it. Tried diff oil no change. Noise is bad. Thinking of trying to check manual oil pressure. Best spot to hook up gauge? Here's videos of the noise https://youtu.be/sDWwjDdwRC8 https://youtu.be/_HmhS0zrtcM |

Easiest place to hook in a gauge is where the sending unit switch is if you want to go that route. Keep in mind that the HD is a low pressure/high volume system so you should not be seeing a super high pressure # anyway - I don't know what to expect from a sporty, But would be surprised if it were more than 25# - My panhead does 12 lbs hot. My Knuckle did 4 lbs. My EVO BT did 18lbs. So, what might seem like low pressure for an AMC Pacer is perfectly fine from an HD (roller bearing) engine. You know you can use a screwdriver like a stethoscope to localize where a sound is coming from... |

Did the stethascope thing already. The whole cam chest and rocker boxes are ticking. Like the slop in the lifters is being heard up top and bottom |
