This should fit all tubers, right? I have a 99 S3 that I want to use it on. |

The S3 doesn’t use a cradle mounted gauge plate so... yes it would work, but you would have the gauge mount setup top clamp like all other tuners Looks like some growing interest so I will look into this again and see if the machinist I use for this set up is interested in doing it again. Remember early S1s had bolt in risers, I do have that part as well..... |

Ericzs1, your 96 has bolt in risers, the part I designed and had made for the bolt in style is a completely different part. I can have that made as well but will need a production run of that instead of just a single unit. |

5 is a pretty small order and will probably drive the cost up, I was hoping to get a few more interested people, but looks like we’re stuck at 5. I’ll reach out and see if he is willing to make a small run and what the cost will be. |

on the 96 version, is this also a riser? not just a different bar mount? |

I don't know if this is a dumb question, but would this fit an X1 as well? |

It will fit an X1. The machinist I use for this is on vacation, he will get back with me sometime next week on whether or not he can open his production schedule to make a few. |

There were two versions of top tree and handlebar mount. The early version ‘96 (I’m not sure about ‘97) had a flat top tree and the risers were a bolt in style cradle, two bolt in and then a single top piece (3 pieces total). The later model had the risers cast into the top tree as a cradle. I designed the part for the bolt in style as a single one piece bolt in cradle and a top clamp (2 pieces instead of three) I designed the later model as a lower conversion block that sits in the cast in cradle then steps up to the fat bar size and a top clamp (2 pieces total) This is a list for folks for the later style that sits in the cast in cradle. If folks have the earlier bolt in style then I need a separate list, or clarification in this list. They are completely different parts and I don’t think anyone wants to pay a single unit price, let’s try and get multiples of the early bolt in style. The parts are not interchangeable. |

I just heard back from the machinist, I can get both styles made, price is more than anticipated due to material cost and his labor and low volume. Cast in cradle style $250.00 Bolt in riser style $350.00 Please confirm so I can get this going. |

I ordered a few to make sure William got his, they will be done around the first week of August. If folks on the list changed their mind then they will be open to anyone. I have a few early bolt in riser style and a few cast in cradle style. |

Hey Jolly, Would your machinist be interested in making a similar one for an 1125? No gauge mount needed obviously. |

what is it you are looking for? all of the parts I have designed are really my design, I just cant write in CAD or any other program so its REALLY crude, but they solve a need for me. I have a wide eclectic collection of motorcycles, each of which has some little issue or update or change required that the market hasn't solved, so I go overboard and solve it for my self, then make it available to others. I work with a few different machinists depending on who I started with, when I was living where, etc, and they use their program and machining skills to turn my idea into the part I need, I do have an 1125R but I like the clip-on style bars, are you thinking of something for the CR? As you can imagine this is an expensive endeavor, and the purchase audience tends to be really small groups, which makes the part expensive.... but lets talk, lets see what you are looking for, and maybe enough people are interested that I can help get it into production, even if limited...... it takes "donor" parts first, like a set of bars, Im guessing fat bars like the CR high bars, and a top tree so that all the measurements can be made.....maybe you are just looking for a 1" rise so all you need is a lower cradle spacer to raise the bars? |
