tried that. no good. i have yet to see this on my own but i know the kids more than capable. even tried freezing it. the sensor goes in with no issues without oring but once the oring is on it just dont fit. (Message edited by mike lee on November 11, 2017) |

update... so I finally got the chance to visit my sons new place for thanksgiving and look at the issue with the speedo. indeed it will not go in the case with the o-ring attached. slides right in without it. o-ring is in the groove where it is supposed to be. picked up O-rings from two different hd shops but neither work. any other tricks that anyone may know of? |

I think there were two different o rings used.I just had a older blast come in with a bad speedo sensor.I tried a new sensor and it would not fit so I took the old o ring put it on the new sensor and it went in just fine. It looked like the o rings were two different sizes but I did not have time to measure them |

thanks Odd. I do recall the two O-rings from the two different shops were different colors. thought the blue (most recent)would fit but no. I will stop there again and see if they show another size. there has to be a thinner one available. |
