Appears that all sources of the maps have disappeared from the web, unless someone has their own archive. Have a new-to-me 01 Lightning X1, pretty nice, actually running very well on a serial PC3, but I have no way to get the current map off the PC for backup or even view it at the moment. It seems I need the zero map loaded in the laptop app first. The app does show the real-time variables like RPM but will not show the current map. The map file I need is called m803-0000s.map. The "s" is for the wideband sensor which the bike does have. Please don't tell me to remove the PC and shoot it with a .50 caliber bush gun. Working fine according to the previous owner and I am curious to see the map. TIA. I do have a Buelltooth in case I decide to go with an ECM map later on. | ||

Contact Dynojet.Or look on their website, I know I have done some serial ports in the past, but thought it was a PC 2 that needed a map loaded first. You must have a serial port PC, need to And why would you use a PC3 when ECM spy will do all it does and more-- with no worry of skewing AFV? | ||

Hi, Fireman. Dynojet removed all the old serial maps about 5 years ago. Yes, I have a couple of old laptops of the same vintage! I haven't ridden the bike yet but the PO says the Power Commander was working very well -- no fuel management problems at all -- so I am hesitant to change it out "ain't broke". Of course, if it turns out to be not so great I will pull off the PC and use Buelltooth and ECMDroid to burn a new map on the ECM. The Buelltooth works, I already checked it. Bike needs a few things done yet -- chief among them is replace the original front tire (10,900 miles)! I actually have a whole XB12 top end to go on it but that will have to wait until I get bored with the Thunderstorm stuff.
