I have owned an S1W for a few years but when I saw another one on my local craigslist for a good price I couldn't resist the urge to pick it up. Bike has 20k miles on it and needed all the normal updates. I took it down to the frame and replaced isolators, exhaust studs, intake seals, exhaust gaskets, rocker box gaskets, set primary tension, checked oil pump drive gear, mounted new tires, etc. All the stuff I have learned from this forum. I also added mikuni carb and forcewinder intake, carbon fiber front fender, powder coated all the black brackets. It came with a supertrapp exhaust. Obviously it has been repainted. It was originally white on white but the story goes that the tank had turned an ugly yellow color and the previous owner resprayed all the body work. At first I didn't love the color but it is growing on me. Eventually I may restore it to all white.

I like the color. If it's not bubbling...don't fork with it! |

Is that the old or new style SuperTrapp? If it's the old one, be sure to put a safety strap on it, just in case. |

Wow....thats nice +1 on Hootowl's comment. I have 3 tanks for my S1, paint on all 3 is "forked". If you have a good one, keep it |

thanks guys, yes the paint on the tank looks like it is holding up good, just a couple tiny bubbles and it was painted several years ago. Here is a pic of the other side where you can see the supertrapp better, maybe somebody can let me know if it is the old style or new style.

Very nice looking bike! it came with some nice parts, between the exhaust and updated rear shock. The color reminds me of my old speed triple. It wasn't the color I would've normally picked, but it was a nice color and still looked good. Very curious what an S1W with a Mikuni feels like next to my CV'ed S1. |

I added the mikuni on both of my bikes, I love the throttle response and it just seems to run better everywhere. Worth while mod in my opinion but there's plenty of guys who like the softer response of the cv carb |

Looks great!!! I bought a 98 S1 basket case last year. Almost done. Wish I could ad pictures of mine to show but can't seem to make them small enough on my phone to post. Has a S&S Super E and trying to decide what intake to put on it, thinking about velocity stack. |

That looks like the new Trapp to me. The old style had a flat front. The new kind has the cone on front, like yours. SuperTrapp built the Buell Pro Series exhaust, and also sold it as their own. So what you have there is the SuperTrapp branded Buell Pro Series exhaust. Very nice find. |
