I have the pro series race header and muffler on my S1W. Both brackets broke off of the back of the muffler. I was able to find another race muffler locally and it is in nice shape but the perforated tube inside slides back and forth freely. Is this normal or did a weld break off? Maybe just needs new packing? How can I prevent this muffler from breaking at the mounts like my old one did? |

Good call running the recall retainer kit anyway. Looks nice! installing the updated y exhaust hanger would help with breakage issues at the rear and the header. I have a spare hanger if you'd like to buy it. No hardware though but it can be had at ace for about $7. (Message edited by Williamscottrobertson on September 11, 2017) |
