Bar clamp could grind down fill & paint also. Or rubber mount a clock something. (Message edited by ebutch on June 29, 2017) |

The lights are facing down but they still light up a lot of the road. Yes! the bar clamps horrendous. I was thinking of making a Dual GOPRO mount for 2 cameras and using those bolts to hold it in. |

Why not just make a new bracket to rotate the lights up some and light up ALL of the road? LIke the idea of mounting other things on the bar clamp, not thought of that before. The S3 piece is really nice, weighs about 1/4 of what you got on there now. I dont know what its made of, but its nice! |

My favorite turn signals for these types of bikes are either Zepto ( years ago I did a full write up on an install) or Oberon turn signals which flash forward and rearward.. I have these on a few of my Guzzis and a Triumph Thruxton Zepto http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/711376.html?1368383363 Look at this on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152429606387 OBERON Mini LED Motorcycle Turn Signals - DOUBLE SIDED - BLACK |

Nice i like those turn signals. I will look into them. Do you think ill need a No Load flasher? Or is my stock one capable of handling the LED load? |

It's not that it can't handle the load, it's that there's not enough load to heat up the bimetallic contact and make it interrupt the circuit, cool off, and start all over again. You need an electronic flasher, not a mechanical one. You can also use a resistor in parallel with the LED to replace the load of the incandescent bulb you removed. Electronic flasher is the better choice, I think. |

Hmm, I am running LEDs on a 78XS 1100 and i have this no load LED flasher Unit. its a No Load flasher and it works AWESOME! its legit just plug and play into the stock wiring. No resistors or anything! https://www.amazon.com/Keep-Clean-FF552NLF-Fixed-F lasher/dp/B00383ETS0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=149891 6040&sr=8-1&keywords=keep+it+clean+no+load+flasher |

The whole fast blinker issue when using Led lights comes from the fact that the led does not create alot of draw or resistance on the circuit which the stock flasher is set up for. You can either add resistors in the circuit but they do get hot. Or buy the flasher as stated above they are all over ebay and amozon from 1.99 to 40. I spent 10 and it worked perfect |
