I found this article reading through an old Battle2win magazine. Shows fairly good results swapping the O2 sensor to a Beck/Arnley 156-8100. Can be had for $20 on eBay. Wondering if anyone has any opinions/thoughts about this? I may pick one up and try it. I could always swap back, as long as it doesn't burn her up

I have a 2001 x1 that i put a powercommander on way back when i bought it. i also bought an upgraded O2 sensor from powercommander that was supposed to be able to read a wider range. dont remember the part number or anything but i can check tonight. I know i still have it laying around somewhere. I installed the upgraded O2 sensor along with a newer version powercommander (copied map from old one into new one) and the bike did seem to run better at low rpm and before it was warmed up. |

I read the next magazine and they let on that the bike ran better with a new "Buell" oem sensor. They claim that new sensors read better because they aren't worn/coked with soot. I could buy that. |
