Hey all, Some news about me resurrecting my Buell X1 2000... With again... a question that will sound stupid for most of you... Does anyone know the size of the two huge "inbus" that i need to remove to release the swingarm ? Its the ones that need the torque for around 140Nm... I am guessing its around 1/2"... but i want to be sure before ordering it. In my country the "inch" sizes are rare and I always have to order these special wrenches, inbus bits etc... (I have all the smaller sizes already) The size is not in the Service Manual (which I have) I tried measuring it, but the tool i use is not in inches either...

From my 1998 S3T Defender, holding the isolators. Definitely 1/2 inch:
Later ones had Torx head screws, don't know their size. HTH, 1313 |

Reminder also, it's a X1 with a "secret panel" in the frame so the "scott-free" thing doesn't apply here other than the size of the tool. |

By the way, are you replacing the isolators or doing something else? |
