Anyone here have some photos or a blow up of the air box on a X1? I got the back on but I'm not sure how every thing else goes together..

Like the pipe that bolts to the EFI, air temp mod and puke lines.. bought the bike without it so I never got a chance to see it put together..

When you install the outer cover, it helps to hold the filter element in place from behind with a couple of fingers.
Otherwise, it's really hard to keep it seated just right.

I purchased my bike gutted from the dealership.
As they sold it to me, the filter was doing nothing. Air came right in from below on the outer cover.
They removed the plastic snorkel and who knows what else.
I ended up giving up and getting a forcewinder.
Kudos to you for not giving up!

Thanks Ducx1, I was able to get the back on..
The j-hooks seemed like an after thought..lol

Nate, I had the CF race filter on it from day one.. I'm looking to trade the X1 for something
lower and slower like a Sportster and wanted
to use it on that..
