I bought this bike from a fellow BADWEB"er"., K12Pilot, Absolutely the best guy to deal with while we sorted the transaction. I was retiring from 30yrs in the USAF and getting ready to move 1/2 way across the country and start my next chapter in life and decided that life just was not quite complicated enough(????) so decided to throw in a bike project at the same time. 1995 S2 Oil Pump drive gear XB rocker box cover conversion rocker box lower gaskets starter gasket oil pump gasket front exhaust mount update custom side plates (single rider version) for kick stand update new front fairing bags with red emblems new style turn signals billet aluminum CNC air filter backing plate new CF air filter cover new low profile grips S3 foot pegs new tires rebuild carb Banke brake and shifter powdercoat primary cover and timing cover due to some deep scratches (from owner prior to K12) Borla exhaust new throttle cables new clutch cable undercut primary cover (due to scratches) new isolators front and sides Front Isolator note: My frame is old enough it did not have the "notch" in the frame so per the instructions I should have installed the isolator under the frame cross brace plate at the neck, however, I looked at that design and found that the motor was then hanging from the isolator/frame "union" by only the smaller two side bolts. With only a small bit of careful grinding on the incorporated washer in the isolator I was able to create a flat spot on the front that enabled it to fit above the frame brace cross plate like it was originally supposed. In this configuration the side bolts merely keep the isolator from moving instead of supporting the weight of the motor. It only took a little grinding and I did not have to remove any of the bonding surface or material of the rubber isolator. due to my move I was only able to ride the bike about 20 miles then load it in the bike hauler with everything else and send it to its new home. Finally got to ride it the other day in my new home town area, Tulsa OK.
