I did it's good but some reinforcing is necessary like adding fiberglass & resin filling air bubbles and sanding and shaping bad spots.I bought several S2 pcs. Work !!!!
some pcs too thin need more fibber glass & rosen on back side . (Message edited by ebutch on July 17, 2016) |

Hope Fireman Jim sees this thread. Then you will have a real opinion. |

I've read about bad blood with airtech when I was researching their air cleaner, but none of the threads said what happened. What's the deal? |

Not trying to reopen healed wounds, I'm just always a curious lot. I suspect that the S2 bodywork that was part of the recent EBR auctions was AirTECH bodywork, at least the tank cover I bought was definitely NOT OE Buell produced bodywork (which will be perfectly fine for my application)... 1313 |

I am not sure what started the online discussion on landracing.com 5 or so years ago but Jim asked them not to use his bike in their adds the result was the picture above. I am surprised it is still there hadn't checked in a couple of years. |

Too funny, Brankin, that is a pic of my bike. I bought the Airtech stuff for and S-1 and fitted it to my Bonneville S-2. Airtech was absolutely no help after purchase customer service wise. Caught the owner eyeballing my bike at Bonneville and then someone mentioned a pic of my bike had shown up on their website. He was on another forum chastising someone for "stealing" intellectual property and I chimed in and mentioned"like you stole my pic without permission for your advertising". He lost it and sent me a 2 page e-mail. Said he would remove the pic--- and this is what he did! Even funnier is I am now in the same SCTA club---LOL. I try not to use their stuff. |
