I've painted my body panels, tank, primary cover and added LED taillights and bar end mirrors. On the tank, air cleaner and primary cover I've used bed liner. It looks sweet! I'm going to have an opportunity to paint the timing cover and swingarm soon. I'm undecided on what look I will give the swingarm in particular. I've considered of course more bed liner and thought of maybe doing a carbon fiber wrap? I'm just fishing for ideas thanks! | ||

Gloss black like the wheels !? It's a lot of black ,but maybe looks good when doing the body parts in other colour or carbon wrap. But it's your bike ,so maybe have another thought what colour you like! | ||

I did a powdercoat on mine that made it look polished with all black looked good   | ||

That does look nice! Did you do the powder coating yourself? Like the polished look? | ||

I did not used a lical guy that does it out of his barn he did the wheels, frame, swingarm and 350 other parts for $350 and its clear coated also | ||

I powder coated mine "rape yellow". It was the closest thing to reactor yellow I could find. If you don't put them right next to each other, you can't tell they're not the same. I can only assume "rape" yellow gets its name from the rapeseed flower. I mean, it didn't make the bike any faster, so it's obviously not from "raped ape". |
