Author Message   34nineteen Posted on Thursday, March 10, 2016 - 10:23 am:        I was perusing eBay looking for parts and come across what looks to be a good stock muffler. It says it is S0110.KA which a google search yields that it fits a 99-02 X1. Is there any reason it wouldn't fit a 97 M2? It seems like a bunch of the aftermarket and Buell race exhausts will fit various models and years. It would seem like the challenge may be to find a stock "over the tube" header with a 2" collector? Or is it a different beast altogether?   Jayvee Posted on Thursday, March 10, 2016 - 03:49 pm:        All '99 and later tube framed have the 2.5" collector exit, which matches up the the muffler inlet. So that muffler's inlet is likely to be 2.5" but your collector exit would be 2".
